Camp Hammond is 175 acres of "great outdoors" which can provide that "get away from it all" adventure just a short drive from home.

Located at 6320 SE Stubbs Road, the camp has a 15 acre, stocked lake with a sand beach, four fishing docks, a swimming dock, paddle boats, and canoes, as well as primitive camping and lots of hiking trails FREE to YMCA members. A lodge that can seat 100 with indoor restrooms and a full commercial kitchen, and four cabins are available for a small fee for a "less rustic" camping experience. An experience you will remember for a lifetime . . . schedule your school, scout troop, church group or home schoolers for a special learning experience outdoor in nature. We can design a special program to meet your groups' needs. Our trained staff can give you an experience that will be both learning and fun among the beauty of Camp Hammond. Wild prairies, woodlands, streams and lakes are some of the natural wonders of Camp Hammond. New outdoor education center coming soon! Courses Available: (allow 2 ½ hours for each program)
Fees: $5.00 per participant with a minimum of 8 for each program
Wow! What a great idea . . . something totally different! Have your next birthday party at Camp Hammond. You can do an evening, overnight or just a day at camp for that special someone. Fishing, boating, swimming, nature program, hiking or even a campfire is available for your personalized birthday party. Our staff will help you plan the perfect party. Interested in a family camp-out at Camp Hammond? Do you enjoy the outdoors and nature setting of an overnight camp? Then schedule an overnight at camp. Stay in our cabins, or pitch your own tent. Get up early and go fishing, hiking, canoeing, paddle boating, or just sit and relax. Our staff will help you plan a multi-family event at Camp Hammond and we can provide the program staff.
