Camp Hammond is a great place to help children grow in a postive way!
Camp Hammond is that perfect location for a fun filled summer, with a beautiful 175 acre campsite awaiting campers. Our outdoor setting is exceptional for increeasing a child's environmetal awareness and appreciation for the outdoors. Our 15 acre lake provides a great variety of fun and learning programs.
Building memories is what camp programs are all about. We offer best of traditional camp programs such as swimming, archery, canoeing, fishing, and paddle boating. Other programs include arts and crafts, fun Friday field trips, service learning, values education, hiking, sports, games, team building low ropes course, singing, skits cookouts, healthy snacks, nature exploration/education and outdoor skills.
At Camp Hammond Day Camp we are commited to sending each of our campers home with more than a t-shirt. We instill YMCA Character Values of Caring, Repect, Responsibility, and Honesty. Our dedicated staff put the kids first and provide a caring family environment that builds self-confidence while having fun.
